Sautéed Green Beans⁣

The easiest most delicious recipe for green beans
Serves: 2-4 ⁣
Time: 8 min ⁣

1 lb, fresh trimmed green beans ⁣
1 Tbs butter ⁣
Water ⁣
Garlic salt, pepper⁣

1. Add green beans to a large fry pan, add enough water so bottom is covered but green beans are not submerged, add butter and heat over high heat and cover⁣
2. After about 6ish minutes, check fineness, you want them to be still al dente, the uncover and stir occasionally until water evaporates, add salt and pepper and toss⁣

Serve as a side, chop them up for your kiddos, or keep them in the fridge to snack on throughout the week. If you’re really in a pinch for time, consider steaming these in the bag in the microwave, then sauté the with butter, garlic salt, and pepper for a few minutes.

Crispy Brussel Sprouts

This side is very versatile and filling. They can be made in an airfryer, the oven, or my favorite the grill!

Serves: 4 ⁣
Time: 20 min ⁣

Ingredients: ⁣
1 pound brussel sprouts ⁣
2 Tbs olive oil ⁣
Salt/pepper ⁣

1. Cut stems off brussel sprouts so some of the leaves start to come off and quarter them ⁣
2. Toss in the olive oil, salt, and pepper and either bake or air fry – if using oven 425 degrees and space on a baking sheet, stir around occasionally. If using air fryer 390 and toss/stir every 5 min⁣

Crispy Smashed Potatoes

One of my favorite dinner sides are these smashed potatoes and I love dipping them in an herby ranch style dressing.

Serves: 4⁣
Time: 45 min ⁣

12 ounces baby Yukon gold potatoes ⁣
3 Tbs olive oil ⁣
Salt and pepper⁣
Cayenne ⁣

1. Fill a large saucepan with potatoes and water, ensuring water is at least 1 inch above potatoes. Add a dash of salt and heat over high heat. Continue boiling for about 20 minutes. Potatoes should be fork tender ⁣
2. Preheat oven to 425⁣
3. Drain potatoes in colander and let them cook about 5 minutes ⁣
4. Grease a sheet pan with olive oil and arrange potatoes on sheet, use a fork or potato masher to smash each potato about 1/4-1/2 inch thick, drizzle olive oil, add salt/pepper and a small amount of cayenne. Bake for 25 minutes until browned ⁣

This is a great base recipe, feel free to season with any and all herbs and seasonings. Serve with a dipping sauce like ranch or simply as a side with your dinner🤩⁣

Garlic Toast ⁣

The perfect addition to soups and bruschetta ⁣

Serves: as many as you want to make ⁣
Time: 15 min⁣

Your favorite crusty bread, sliced ⁣
Olive oil ⁣
Salt ⁣
1 clove of garlic ⁣

1. Preheat oven to 375, while preheating, arrange bread on a baking sheet then paint each slice with olive oil (crust to crust), season each slice with salt and pepper. Flip them over and repeat ⁣
2. Bake for 12 minutes then broil on hi til light golden brown ⁣
3. Remove from oven, slice the garlic in half and rub each slice of toast with the garlic⁣

Melting Potatoes

Decadent Melt in your Mouth Goodness ⁣

Serves: 4⁣
Time: 35 min

6-7 large Yukon Gold Potatoes ⁣
2 Tbs vegetable oil ⁣
3 Tbs butter⁣
1 cup vegetable broth ⁣
4 cloves garlic, smashed ⁣
1 sprig rosemary ⁣

1. Pre heat oven to 400 degrees, while the oven is preheating melt together oil and 2 Tbs of butter over medium high heat in a large cast iron skillet⁣
2. While the oil and butter are melting cut 1inch thick discs from the potatoes, season both sides with salt and pepper ⁣
3. Place potatoes in skillet and sear for about 4-5 minutes, they should be golden-dark brown, once they are, turn off heat and flip over each disc⁣
4. Add smashed garlic, rosemary, veggie broth, and butter, place skillet in oven to finish and bake for about 30 minutes ⁣
