This showstopper was our contribution to the NYE spread, first time making it and it was a hit!
Time: 2 hours 15min (15 min of prep)
Serves: 12
Ingredients:
1 pack of regular Oreos
5 Tbs unsalted butter, melted
3 Tbs fig or raspberry jam
1 1/4 C heavy cream
12 oz semi-sweet chocolate (buy the good stuff)
2 pints raspberries
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350
2. Use a food processor to turn Oreos to crumbs, add melted butter and pulse til combined
3. Press prep mixture into tart pan with removeable bottom or a spring pan, pressing down and giving a 1 inch side bake for 8 minutes
4. Next spread a thin layer of the jam on the base of the crust and bake for 3 min, take out and cool completely
5. Heat cream on stove top over medium low heat til almost boiling, meanwhile add chocolate to heatproof bowl
6. Once cream is hot, pour it over chocolate and wait 5 minutes before stirring til combined
7. Poor chocolate ganache into cooled tart crust and decorate with raspberries, lightly pressing them into the ganache
8. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours
Simple to make, decadent to taste 🥂🎊
